Build Your Future at EdSpaces

The American Architectural Foundation (AAF) and the Education Market Association are hosting a design for learning workshop at EdSpaces for two school districts during which we will develop and advance knowledge, strategies, and solutions for supporting new models learning through innovative design of the learning environment. Both school district teams will then discuss their challenges and showcase the solutions developed with the AAF resource team.

AAF’s design resource team consists of members from AAF’s Design for Learning Knowledge Partners and the AIA Committee on Architecture for Education (CAE). The design workshop is presented at Edspaces to demonstrate the essential role of design and design thinking in creating next model learning environments in support of educational innovation.

The design resource team will work on the exhibit floor in a pop-up design environment created using educational furniture provided by Steelcase. All participants will also have the opportunity to explore the Edspaces Exhibit Floor to see new innovative product ideas for the Charrette Workshops.
