Sustainable Cities Design Academy: The Storymap



From 2009-2016, the American Architectural Foundation (AAF) co-created the Sustainable Cities Design Academy with United Technologies Corporation (UTC) to provide design assistance and leadership development to teams of civic leaders planning and developing projects in their cities that address and advance significant local and regional sustainability goals. To date, 59 unique public private partnership project teams in 47 unique municipalities have received assistance through this select program.

Now, for the first time, information on all 59 projects is available, geolocated into an interactive map, made with Esri’s free ArcGIS platform and their Story Map web application platform.

Then, click on the resulting map pins or the tiles below the map to view more information on a project.
